From enquiry to follow-up
A shared lead queue for a local services business: every enquiry from the website form lands in one place, is routed automatically and keeps a status the whole team can see.
- Starting point
- Leads landed in an inbox. Whoever saw one first followed up.
- What we built
- A shared lead queue with automatic routing, notifications and a status for every lead.
- What changed
- Every lead in one place, status visible to the whole team.
-
A customer sends the form on the website. Why it helps: Enquiries arrive complete, in one format.
-
Every lead lands in one shared queue. Why it helps: One list instead of five inboxes.
-
The lead is passed on for follow-up automatically. Why it helps: The right person gets it without anyone forwarding.
-
The team hears about a new lead the moment it arrives. Why it helps: Faster replies win more of the enquiries.
-
New, contacted or closed, visible to the whole team. Why it helps: Nobody asks twice who is handling what.
Starting point
A local services business collected leads through its website form. After that, whoever saw the notification first followed up, the status lived in someone’s head, and nobody could tell which leads still needed an answer.
What we built
A shared queue that every lead lands in when the form is sent. An automation notifies the team and routes each new lead on for follow-up. Its status (new, contacted, closed) is kept in the queue.
What changed
Every lead is in one place, and the whole team sees its status. Follow-up happens because the system prompts it, not because someone remembered.
Built with
